As winter inevitably approaches, I am cleaning and organizing all I can before I'm stuck looking at it for the next 6 months -_-
I have tackled my work space, hung my yarn on a pegboard, placed baskets to hold my cuttings and other useless items, but small things like what is pictured below are what I kept pushing to the side. This was one of those projects where you knew it was going to take you a bajillion hours, but it simply had to be done.
Among my many failed attempts at organizing odd things throughout my life, you'll see my cross-stitch supplies was one of them. At one point, I thought toilet paper rolls would keep colors together and make it at least look like I had my life together. As you can see..
Cleaning away, I found a box of old business cards and a little lightbulb *dinged* above my head. Make a small slit in the side of the card and VOILA! Perfectly organized cross-stitch thread that fits nicely in it's little.. drawer..thing.
