The hardest part of this particular project was trying to figure out the length and width of the blanket. This was a "stroller blanket" and was to measure 30 inches x 36 inches. Now.. that's pretty damn big for a stroller blanket.. It turned out the size of the perfect lap blanket for an adult so.. guess who's gonna start making those? ;)
Overall, the chevron pattern is, by far, the most fun pattern I've had the pleasure of doing. It's so incredibly simple and pretty versatile. Every pattern I found was a little different so I kind of took a little from each one. This one is worked in the Back Loops Only and it gives it a perfect "ribbed" look. The mama-to-be was ecstatic over having a hand-made keepsake for her little skeleton soldier.
If you're looking for the perfect shower gift for an expecting beauty, fill out the contact form or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'd be happy to customize each blanket to be a perfect fit for a shower theme or nursery!
