basket case

Raise your hand if you have a "this basket would be so great for ___" addiction... *raises hand*

Every time I go to a thrift or antique store I'm immediately drawn to where the baskets are. Sometimes it's slim pickin, but every once in a while.. you'll strike gold. For the sake of not living for those "every once in a while goldmines", I searched for a simple pattern to make myself a basket. Of course, I got confused about 1/4 of the way in and just kinda.. went with it.

The younger ladies in my family were ever so lucky to receive a small version of this basket for Christmas. They were bustling with ideas of how to use them including: Makeup brushes, nail kit, feminine stuffs, nightstand basket, and many more.  Once I find my perfect yarn these will be in what husband likes to call, "machine production mode".
